Build the skills and confidence to stay safe in open water. This practical program teaches participants how to read ocean conditions, manage waves and currents, respond in emergencies, and move confidently in the ocean through a combination of pool and open water training.
Includes: ocean awareness, tides and currents, rip current safety, survival swimming, floating and treading water, breath and panic control, open water navigation, buddy systems, and rescue awareness.
